If you peruse the World Wide Web for sports information, most often, on social media platforms, some revolutionary sports fan will pose questions that nobody has asked before.
E.g.: Should Barry Bonds be in the Baseball Hall of Fame? Should Pete Rose be reinstated? Should female athletes receive the same pay as men?
Groundbreaking stuff, huh?
You've seen them, all the tiresome inquests that foment hours of tedious and pointless debate. Some of this spills over the border into talk radio and television. Most people have strong opinions one way or another about the aforementioned topics and it seems the public is, predictably, split down the middle.
So we read the posts, the responses, listen to the back-and-forth on radio and the debate on television, and come to a simple conclusion.
Opinions are like unsavory body parts: everybody has them.
I also drew this conclusion: Those are wasted minutes of my life I'll never get back.
