Large numbers turn out for health fair

The community did indeed turn out for the “Put a little love in your health” Community-wide Health Fair. Held at the Huntingdon Middle School gym on Feb. 9 from 6 to 8 p.m., it was sponsored by Huntingdon Special School District.
There were all kinds of health information that could be gathered from booths set up along the sides and ends of the gym.
In addition there were snacks, games, face painting, door prizes, health insurance vendors, dental insurance vendors, mental health agency resources, free Narcan training, fitness tips, vaccine information and local health resource agencies.
It turned out to be a wonderful evening for gathering health information as well as a fun time with friends and classmates, according to several attendees.
