Kathy Maness Thomas, 59, passed away Friday, August 9, in Jackson. Her funeral service was held Monday, August 12, at Stanfill Funeral Home and Cremation with Steve Wilkinson officiating. Burial followed at Central Grove Cemetery.

Kathy was a graduate of Clarksburg High School and Union University with a RN-BSN. She was a loving friend, mother, sister, daughter, aunt, and dedicated nurse. She was a member of Sunset View Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer Maness; her mother, Virgina Woods Maness; her husband, Jerry Dale Thomas; her brothers, Joe Hare and Kerry Mallard; and her son Jeremy Thomas.

She is survived by her stepmother, Virgina Maness; her sisters, Debby (Steve) Wilkinson and Sherry (Kent) Trabert; her daughter, Mandy Thomas; and her sisters-in-law, Debby Hare Latham and Kimberly Mallard.

Her pall bearers were Matt Wilkinson, Lee Wilkinson, Eric Hare, Ryan Hare, Lucas Wilkinson, and Levi Wilkinson.

Her Honorary pallbearers were Steven Wilkinson, Jackson Hare, Kent Trabert, and Leam Wilkinson.
