Malorie Clements-Tilman Central Homecoming Queen

Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School celebrated its basketball homecoming Feb. 9 by crowning a queen among the four members of the royalty in ceremonies prior to the boy’s game with Clarksburg.

Crowned as queen was Malorie Clements-Tilman, a senior and daughter of Rachel Clements and David Tillman. She was escorted by Thomas Crews, a senior and team co-captain. He is the son of Trey and Tammy Crews.

Malorie is a four-year basketball player and has served as football manager. She is a member of several clubs that include Beta, History, Math, and Chemistry.

Nevaeh Davis, a senior, was named first maid. She is the daughter of David and Summer Davis. Her escort was senior Austin Craig, son of JC and Becky Craig.

Sophie Bratton, daughter of Jenny Bratton and Rich Bratton and a senior, was selected as second maid. She was escorted by senior Noah Hampton, team co-captain, son of Jonathan and April Hampton.

Myra Harris, a senior chosen as third maid, is the daughter of Leslie Jameson and Danny Harris. She was escorted by senior Daniel Inman, son of Stephen and Danielle Grace.

Royalty members were presented flowers by senior cheerleaders Anna Batte, daughter of Marty and Lisa Batte, and Maria McMackins, daughter of Mark and Dawn McMackins.

A special presentation took place following the crowning for the seniors involved with basketball.

 Due to the fact that the seniors have not had a typical year, each one was presented with a special momento by teacher Miranda Ornouski.

CHEERLEADERS – Central senior cheerleaders were presented momentos. Senior ball team members were honored with blue basketballs.

Senior cheerleaders Anna and Maria were each given a bracelet and framed remembrance that included the cheerleaders’ autographs. The senior ballplayers that included Zachary Gray, son of Krystal Gray and Jeremy Gray, Ethan Grooms-Drinkard, son of Chris and Stephanie Drinkard and other seniors Jonathan, Thomas, Austin and Daniel, Sophie, Malorie, Naveah and Mya were presented blue basketballs, autographed by team members.

  The teams and cheerleaders also enjoyed some video highlights from the games during the past season.
