Seven Layer Salad

The Seven-Layer Salad is a great addition to any meal. It’s that extra something that goes well with vegetables and meat.

Ingredients

l large head lettuce, torn

1 small onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

2 (15 Oz.) cans green peas, drained

5 tablespoons mayonnaise style salad dressing

10 eggs, hard cooked and chopped

salt and pepper to taste

2 pkgs. fully cooked bacon crumbled

2 cups (8 ozs.) shredded cheese (your choice)

Directions

Layer the lettuce, onion, bell pepper, peas, salad dressing and eggs in a salad bowl. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, bacon and cheese. Chill covered until serving time. Serves 8 to 10.
