The City of McKenzie is hosting its annual fireworks show on Saturday in the city park.
However, there will be no music, food vendors, ceremonies, or any other festivities due to the pandemic.
The gates will open at 7:30 p.m., and the fireworks show will kickoff at about 9 p.m.
Those attending in the park are encouraged to wear face coverings and practice social distancing by staying in
their own family groups and supervising children.
City officials are also encouraging people who can view the display from outside the park to do so in order to
prevent over-crowding in the park.

Fourth of July celebrations in McLemoresville will be held on Saturday, though some of the traditional events will
not be held this year because of the pandemic.
The yearly parade will begin at 7 p.m., followed by live music, and then a fireworks display at dark.
Usual events and attractions not being featured this year include the cake walk, homemade ice cream, and the
hamburger wagon. However, Hometown Grocery will remain open to serve event goers.
